This elegant white reminds us of a Graves. It has hints of pineapple and is lively and long in the finish; it pairs well with fresh fish and white meats. Grapes: Boal (Sémillon), Gouveio (Verdelho) and Cercial.

Vinha Formal, Beiras 2002 36.00

This medium-bodied wine has a clear pale yellow core with a fragrant nose of pineapple and a palate of red apples and a hint of oak. Subtle, delicate, it is a pleasure to sip it by itself or as an accompaniment to clams, mussels, fresh fish, soups and salads. Grapes: Bical 100%.

Dão / Northern Central Region

Grão Vasco 2003 21.00

Light and refreshing, this wine has fruity aromas of lemons and apples. On the palate it has notes of apricots. It is well balanced, dry on the mouth with a medium finish and pairs well with light meals. Grapes: Encruzado (good acidity and body grape), Assario Branco (floral) and Cercial (crisp structure).

Quinta de Cabriz 2004 28.00

Made from two native varietals from the Dão region, this wine is fruity and robust. It is round and velvety showing good acidity with notes of citric fruit and oak. Grapes: Bical and Cercial.

A perfect "anytime" wine or a delightful choice for summer, this light-bodied and delicate wine has an extremely floral nose and a mouth-watering palate of apples, lemons and a hint of peach skins. Grapes: Fernão Pires, Moscatel, Tamarez and Arinto.

Alentejo / Southern Region

Singularis 2004 32.00

This light-bodied, pale yellow wine is matured "sur lies," and exhibits a very pronounced nose of lemons with a delightful yeastiness and minerality. On the palate it has notes of tropical fruits (pineapple and passion fruit), leading to a medium finish. Grapes: Antão Vaz and Arinto.

Cartuxa 2003 35.00

Citrine is the best color description for this crystalline wine of fine aromas and complexity brought by the grapes used in its production. A smooth and lightly acid flavor shows harmony and depth on the palate. Grapes: Arinto, Antão Vaz, Perrum.

Barrel fermented in new French oak barrels for about 20 days, followed by a six-month maturation period in the same barrels, this clear pale straw-colored wine has a lovely nose of vanilla, pears and apple skins. Its palate is rich and succulent with notes of nectarines and pears. Full-bodied and with crisp acidity, it offers a memorable, lingering finish. Grapes: Antão Vaz 100%

Esporão Private Selection 2003 52.00

Barrel-fermented, showing great complexity on the nose and palate, this pale straw-colored wine offers a pleasant and pronounced nose of vanilla, pineapple and nectarines, which carry through on the palate.
